Our lead solar designer has personally designed and installed over 150 PV systems in the San Francisco Bay Area. Even if you are a homeowner or just starting out as a solar installer we can assist you in the process of getting your solar plans designed and permit ready.

The Process

• Complete the Project Form.
• Email sketch for solar panel and equipment layout, roof dimensions and roof structure, pictures.
• We will contact you if additional information is needed.
• We will send you the complete permit package ready for submission to your local building department. The package is an easy to print PDF file.
• Revise drawings if needed.
• After drawings are complete if you wish to redesign the system we can work with you at $60 rate.

Starting at $275 - Roof or ground mounted, grid tie residential permit package up to 10 kW's (Sample Permit Package).

What is in the Permit Package

• Site plan with panel and equipment layout.
• Roof structure drawing.
• Attachment drawing.
• 1 or 3 line drawing with wire and conduit sizing
• System Voltage and Amperage calculations
• Labeling instructions.
